    There are good articles at the Center for Reformed Theology and Apologetics and Monergism.com, just type "canon" into the search queues. There's also a nice little article at oneway2God.

    As to books, there's a lot that's very deep, but I think every Christian library should have a copy of The Journey from Texts to Translations: The Origin and Development of the Bible, by Paul D. Wegner. Another good one is The Origin of the Bible, by Philip Comfort and others. Both books are general introductions to the topic, but quite thorough and useful to the topics surrounding Bible origins.

    In print, I'd suggest Norman Geisler and william Nix's book "A General Introduction to the Bible". Anything by F.F. Bruce and Bruce Metzger will also be helpful.

    yea norman geisler has a good book called "From God to us" that I had to read for school. It was really good information.
